IS HAROLD CAMPING, A FALSE PROPHET?

WHO IS THIS HAROLD CAMPING?

CampingBy Ken Blue When one is familiar with the literal and dispensational teaching of the Bible; listening to Harold Camping sounds like a combination of Charlie Sheen and Jared L. Loughner. I have never read any person who is as confused and deceptive when it comes to handling the Word of God. In my book, Standards and The Standard, I devoted several pages exposing the false teaching of Camping. He proclaimed that the Lord would return in 1994. Since he missed it, that makes him a false prophet, and God has something to say about that: “When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.” Deuteronomy 18:22. Camping now teaches that the rapture will happen May 21, 2011. According to Camping’s prediction, the Rapture will happen exactly 7,000 years from the date that God first warned people about the flood. He said the flood happened in 4990 B.C., on what would have been May 21 in the modern calendar. Camping pulls the date of the flood out of his make-believe hat. Bullinger has the date of the creation B.C. 4004. Ruckman’s Bible says the creation was B.C. 4004. The Chronological Bible has a date of B. C. 3976. The New Analytical Bible B. C. 4004. Scofield has the date of B. C. 4004. Camping said the flood happened in 4990 B.C. that would be almost 1000 years before the creation if other scholars are correct. The simple truth is, Camping doesn’t know what he is talking about.

Camping pulls the date of the flood out of his make-believe hat.

Camping makes the following statement which shows what he does not believe: “They (religious leaders) may be told that the end will not come until Antichrist rises as a political leader who will make them take the mark of the beast.” Many are told that God will rapture His people before a 7 year Great Tribulation after which Christ will set up a 1000 year reign from an earthly throne in Jerusalem. Others are told that Christ will come to rapture believers the same day he destroys the world. While just about every church has a different idea as to what the Bible teaches concerning the end, they all seem to agree on one thing; no man can know the day or the hour of Christ’s return because the scriptures say that He is coming as a thief in the night. But are they correct? Can We Know?” Camping goes on to say, “God will destroy this world on October 21, 2011… His Word showing us that these dates are 100% accurate and beyond dispute.” The Bible does not give these details, most Bible believers would dispute them. Harold Camping teaches that EVERY church in the world is an apostate! He teaches that the church age ended in 1994 and that the Holy Spirit is NO LONGER working in the church! Camping has taken the teaching of a Baptist preacher by the name of William Miller who thought he had the time of Christ’s return as 1843. His followers sold their homes and businesses and went about the country preaching the imminent return of Christ.  They were the followers of William Miller, a farmer and self-taught bible scholar from New York. Miller believed the cleansing of the temple in Daniel 8 was not of a real temple but rather referred to the purification of the earth by fire at the Second Coming of Christ. Miller’s date was between March 21, 1843, and March 21, 1844.  He began to teach this throughout the Northeast and gained a wide following.  Despite the great excitement, March 21, 1844, came and went without the return of Christ.  Miller was devastated, and a new date was set for October 22, 1844. These teachings fathered both, the teachings of Camping, the Seventh Day Adventist and the Jehovah’s Witnesses religions. Here is the sum and purpose of Camping’s teaching: He wants Christians to believe that God is through with local churches and that all of them are apostate. Secondly, he wants you to follow him only, listen to his radio program, and purchase his literature. Oh, by the way, you could start sending your offerings to his ministry. I know this has not crossed the mind of the false prophet, but if you did it, I am sure he would appreciate it. Now, I hope the rapture happens before March 21, and it may. But I would be willing to bet anyone a $1,000.00 Camping is wrong! You see, I can’t lose. If it doesn’t happen, I win. If it happens, I won’t be here to pay up. If you are unsaved, you lose.

Hmmm, so if the Holy Spirit is no longer working in the church today, how can this guy believe that the Holy Spirit is working in his life? I can tell you that I believe there is another “spirit” at work in this guy…and he isn’t a holy spirit!

  2. Sammy

    I like that last paragraph!

  3. Mark Stevanus

From a purely practical point of view, what is Camping’s beef with the church? It seems to me that since churches no longer financially support his radio work, he has decided to ditch the entire thing. This is a theology that perhaps he himself invented.

  4. Ken Blue Ken Blue

    Excellent point!

  5. Ted

Some lunatic preachers who came from Baptist backgrounds – William Miller, Jim Jones and now Harold Camping…

  6. Ken Blue Ken Blue

I wasn’t aware that Jim Jones was a Baptist. True, there are many lunatic Baptist. However, not all lunatics are religious, or baptist. Some might even be atheist.

  7. A

Harold Camping came from a Reformed background.

The Rapture cannot happen before May 21, 2011. It shall happen on May 21, 2011, as determined from the Bible. The date for the creation of the earth is 11013 BC. The flood, according to a better understanding of the Bible, did occur in 4990 BC.

Yes, the church age ended on May 21, 1988. Scoffers and mockers of Harold Camping can be confused “christians” such as Ken Blue as well as atheists.

  8. Ken Blue Ken Blue

One thing was noticeably missing from your dates and comments. You did not give or offer one verse of Scriptural proof for your comments. The reason is obvious, you don’t have any. I don’t need to follow Camping to be saved, or believe in the rapture of the church. Camping is a false prophet, and that has already been established. If the rapture does not happen on May 21, I hope you will be Christian enough to contact me and admit Camping is a false prophet and that you were wrong. You should have enough grace to do that. Right?

  9. A

Anyone desiring biblical evidence for dates and prophecies can investigate literature of Family Radio (Family Stations Inc.) No one can purchase literature from Family Radio. Literature is available, online or hardcopy, free of charge.

Mr. Camping is an unpaid volunteer for Family Radio. He has no financial ties to Family Stations Inc.

Dear Anonymous, I have read Mr. Camping’s writings and the Bible, and that is how I came to the conclusion that he is indeed a false prophet. My response was for you to give Scripture proving his prophecies. You did not. I ask if you would be Christian enough to contact me and admit that Camping is a false prophet if the rapture does not happen May 21, 2011, and that you were wrong to believe him. You did not answer the question. Do you have an “ace up your sleeve” just in case Camping is wrong? I bet you do.

  11. A

Mr. Blue, Mr. Camping did not claim with absolute certainty that 1994 would be the time of the end. The title of his book had a question mark after 1994. You haven’t proved that Mr. Camping is a false prophet. And please identify which writings of Mr. Camping that you have read.

Do you have questions about a scripture which you think Mr. Camping is understanding incorrectly?

  12. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Dear Mr. Anonymous, as I supposed, you have been holding aces up your sleeve, and you have some more. Mr. Camping did say the rapture would take place in 1994, and if you don’t know that, you have not read his book. Also, I don’t have to prove that he is a false prophet he has done that himself, and is about to do it again. You sure have a difficult time answering the same question I have presented in both contacts. There is something wrong with you when you are afraid to give an answer to the question and then attempt to put me on the defensive. It won’t work. You are not sure the rapture will occur on the date predicted or you would be bold and come forth with a straight answer. You keep those aces up your sleeve; you’re going to need play them after the twenty-first of next month.

  13. A

Mr. Burns, What is your question?

  14. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Come on, Ace; you know my question. It was in my first and second response to you. Go to your first response to my web page and you will see your comment and my queston.

“May The Lord Find Us Faithful”………..By Mac Lynch

God has not given us the spirit of fear,
But has given us the strength to obey.
With power and sound mind, with love the unfailing kind,
Oh, be not a-shamed of His way.

    [Chorus]
May the Lord find us faithful,
May His word be our banner held high
May the Lord find us faithful,
Everyday tho’ we live tho’ we die.

No man that seeketh after things of this life,
Is a soldier, who passes the test.
Be faithful, be working, be running, be serving,
Be searching His word for His best.

Living or dying may honor be Thine
From this wretched life, You loved and forgave.
A life that’s on fire, be only our heart’s desire,
Be faithful from now to the grave.

  16. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Ace, based on your last response, I must assume you really do not remember my question, or you are simply playing another one. The question was, “If the rapture does not happen on May 21, I hope you will be Christian enough to contact me and admit Camping is a false prophet and that you were wrong. You should have enough grace to do that. Right?” Is there some reason you fear to give a yes or no answer. If the rapture takes place, and you are saved, you won’t have to answer. If it does not you should boldly step forward and admit you were misled and Camping is a false prophet. There is nothing difficult to understand about the question. However, your reluctance to answer is, reveals that you are not honest.

I wrote via email to Family Radio asking them to reconcile Revelation 3:7-13 to Mr. Camping’s teachings that God has removed His candle from the 7 churches of Revelation, which means God has left the churches of today. I’ve never received a response. I understand and believe that the characteristics of the 7 churches represent today’s churches. I believe that 6 of those 7 churches are definitely under God’s judgment and He has left those churches of today that are represented by the 6 churches. I believe that those churches represented by 6 of the 7 churches are apostate. But Family Radio has failed to explain why the church of Philadelphia as described in Revelation is not under God’s judgment. Our Lord’s Words to that church are loving and He tells them He will “keep” them, etc. I believe somewhere that church is alive and well. I haven’t found it yet, but God willing He will lead me there. In the mean time I’m in His Word and Prayer to Him Who is Almighty. Please everyone read God’s Words to the Church of Philadelphia and may you find peace.

  18. Ken Blue Ken Blue

I didn’t know a deck had so many aces. You are still playing them.

  19. Greg

Camping teaches that 1988 was the end of the church age because in 1988 he was expelled from his church of many years for teaching heresy and false doctrine. What kind of ego makes that kind of conclusion?

If the Godhead is 3 but 1, then wherever one is all are. The Bible states that if God were to remove Himself from the earth it would be consumed by fire. That is because all atoms would split. Scientists do not understand what hold atoms from flying apart. It is Christ, who made all things, is in all things, and holds all things together. The conclusion to all this being, in my mind, that if God were to remove Himself or His Spirit from anyone, they would not be here. This proves to me that as long as you are here, God’s Spirit is available. One may chose a different spirit or path, but God has not chosen a different path. His grace is available still, proof being that your atoms are still together! And of course, the Bible says that God seeks to save that which is lost.

There is much to be said negatively about organized American culture churches that is justifiable. Many people have turned away discouraged from church, or been hurt by human egos and self appointed prophets, etc. Camping caters to that in his teaching. However, like any cult, his followers will find that they walked into something worse than what they walked away from. Why people feel the need to cling to one big teacher idol is a mystery to me.

  20. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Thanks for your comment and information

  21. Ben

God doesn’t owe anything to a FALSE PROPHET like Harold Camping, Mohhamed, Smith etc….. the list is sooooo long it isn’t funny.

The sad part about this whole thig is that it destroys faith in so many well ment, but not well versed in their Bibles. Ie. Hosea 4:6 “My nation is destroyed for lack of knowledge”.

I do pray people turn to God and believe in His Only Begotten Son, because that is where salvation is.

  22. Ken Blue Ken Blue

    Good point, Ben. Thanks

It seems as if another group has entered the billboard wars in Camping’s/Family Radio’s back yard of Oakland, CA. They are disputing Camping’s claims with a compelling message of “Jesus is already here.” Here’s the billboard photo:

Doctrinal issues aside, I would love to find out how Mr. Camping and his followers are responding through the use of their personal and business assets to this perceived reality of the May 21 rapture. I should think Family Radio will go off the air. Assets will be liquidated and given to the poor. Certainly no orders for literature will go out on or after May 20, because how would they arrive at their destination prior to the great calamity? And I should think no charitable bequests or monetary gifts would be accepted by Family Radio from here on, either. Somehow, in spite of all the bluster and fake certainty, I suspect it shall be business as usual at Family Radio HQ on May 22 and thereafter. And the sickening part is that everyone at Family Radio knows it. The wickedness and idolatry of this generation, as in Jesus’ day, rears its ugly head even among believers who get sucked in by this lust after signs and wonders.

  25. Ken Blue Ken Blue

I believe you are right on

  26. Ken Blue Ken Blue

I checked the link. They are more insane than Camping.

  27. Kane Brolin

If anyone really wants to dig into this Camping issue in detail and see the origins of this sickness, a man named John S Torrel has written an incredibly thorough exposé entitled “Harold Camping: A Man With No Shame.” http://www.eaec.org/bibleanswers/Harold-Camping-A-Man-With-No-Shame.htm Mr. Torrel has researched this issue since 1992 and possibly before, and he has spoken directly with Family Radio staffers who (off the record, of course) talked about their true beliefs and feelings. Among other things, Mr. Torrel points out that Harold Camping did not even come up with the idea of Family Stations, Inc., nor does he represent the majority view of the staff. It points out that he has in fact been running a sham not-for-profit entity that would not even survive a true investigation by the state of California, iin light of how it really is run. And, in contrast to Mr. Camping’s repeatedly false promises of a strictly defined rapture date, this article makes a strong biblical case for what Harold Camping’s fate in the afterworld actually will be in light of the tarnished reputation he has given American fundamentalist Christians in several parts of the globe where his radio ministry has insinuated itself. False prophecy to many out in the world is hilarious. But if you really think of it in the sober perspective of lost vs. saved souls, this man has negatively influenced the eternal destiny perhaps of millions.

  28. Adrian

I believe Harold Camping is a False Prophet. I was driving home one day out in the middle of nowhere. There were no radio stations to listen to so I increased the volume and started to listen to whatever was on. Its was the Family Radio open forum. It was Harold Camping a very bitterly rude old man who is very stubborn speaking about May 21, 2011 being the date of the rapture. A couple of callers were trying to tell him he was wrong but he would rebuttal he wouldn’t even let them finish asking their question. I believe this man is pure evil. While I was listening he stated that the lord only chooses those that he had elected the others would not be saved but to keep asking for mercy. A caller asked him if children would be saved. He stated that not even innocent children will be saved because it all depends on whom was elected. This really angered me because he is basically making the lord look as if he is some type of unforgiving, monster. I started to think and that is what Harold Camping is doing turning his followers against God and they probably don’t know it which is very sad. He also said that people in the churches wont be saved. I started to think and not everyone in this world is a scholar or a genius. So why would god forbid them if they didn’t understand the bible like others it wouldn’t be their fault. I will be completely honest though I’m still kind of terrified about that day I just don’t understand why maybe I also got a little brainwashed with this false information.

  29. David Campola

I have no idea why ALL Christians are so upset with Harold Camping and Family Stations. It’s funny how we Christians fight amongst ourselves. Look at all the Christian Denominations we all use the same Bible and each denomination interprets it differently. So before calling Harold Camping false Prophet Look at your own Church taught beliefs and compare them throughout the entire scripture. I do believe you will find the majority of Churches should be considered False Prophets and teachers of a false Gospel.
Have you ever listened to Family Stations and to The Open Forum? You know the most obnoxious people that call “Open Forum” are the Evangelical Christians and the Seventh Day Adventist. Harold Camping’s teachings I would say are not mainline but they do tie harmoniously with the Bible. Let’s ask ourselves a simple question. Does salvation come from God’s election meaning he chose us before the foundations of the World or someone repeating a man made salvation pray that the Pastor or Evangelist asks us to recite? Search the scriptures for yourself and ask God for guidance to lead you in the direction of truth. I will not lay out any scriptures for you, but if you are being honest with yourself and want to know truth you will allow the Holy Spirit to open your heart.
Can you back any of these Teachings with the Bible verses and make sure they do not contradict with other parts of the Bible?
    1. Salvation by works, being good and accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior
    2. Infant Baptism
    3. The age of accountability
    4. Slain in the Spirit
    5. Praying to Idols
    6. Denial that Jesus Christ is the only way or there are many ways to God (Rev Billy Graham, Rev Robert Schuller, and Joel Osteen all have suggested)
    7. Gospel of Inclusion
    8. Women and now Gay ordination for Pastoral Ministry
    9. Believing that taking Communion you are actually eating and drinking the body and blood of Jesus.
    10. Conformation
    11. The Gospel of positive thinking and that God wants you to be happy, healthy and wealthy.
    12. Losing your salvation
    13. Other books beside the bible, like “The Book of Mormon”, “The Apocrypha”, “Presbyterian Book of Order which Trumps the Bible”
We can go on. Look at these items. Are any of these items what your church believes and teaches? Hmmm, these are teachings of the Christian Churches. So who is the False Prophet or False Gospel? I will leave that up to you.

  30. ashley

this is really scary and I am scared to death I’m not going to lie

  31. Amanda

Not even Jesus knows, so why in the world would Harold Camping? I belive whole heartedly that this man is a false prophet. Ken Blue, i completly agree with you, Camping doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Its almost as if he is running a cult.. Don’t you agree?

  32. Rich

Think about it, what is the best way for Satan to attack the church? By infiltrating it with people like Mr. Camping and having them sow confusion and discord amongst the people. Study the scriptures, “no one knows the day or the hour” a prophet is either 100% right or is not a prophet (I agree with Ken on this point). Too many people these days are labeled by people, or by themselves, as prophets. That is a dangerous thing to do because God will protect his image and not allow the blasphemer to go unpunished for long. I also agree with the suggestion that Mr. Camping receives these revelations from a spirit that is not the Holy Spirit.

  33. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Rich, Jesus said that many like Camping would arise before His coming as a sign. Men like him confuse weak believers and cause the unsaved to scoff at the Bible.
    Good post

  34. Ken Blue Ken Blue

    YES!

  35. Ken Blue Ken Blue

ASHLEY,I’M GLAD YOU RECEIVED MY EMAIL. I ALSO THANK GOD FOR YOUR ANSWER

  36. Ken Blue Ken Blue

YOU SAID, “Harold Camping’s teachings I would say are not mainline but they do tie harmoniously with the Bible.” YOU MUST BE JOKING.

  37. Caleb

I tend to worry alot with this end of the world stuff. I mean if its not 2011 its 2012. I dont understand why people try to do this. I am honestly scared I have faith but still I worry,

  38. matt

Mr. Blue my brother has fallin into all this. And it hurts my heart that he just gave it to camping’s teachings he was not brought up to just follow someone on a whim. His wife and there family did what camping said to do they left the church they have there own bible study’s at home and are happy and cann’t wait till the 21st comes they say its going to be awsome site . I donn’t know what to do I am hurting in side for these people.

  39. MCS

Camping and his followers are so confused and doom that they don’t even know if they are saved or not they are waiting for May 21 to find out. That’s another prove they don’t follow Jesus, they follow a false prophet “HAROLD CAMPING” May 21 is not judgment day and that will prove HAROLD COMPING IS A LUNATIC WHO HATES CHRISTINITY.

  40. Vlad

Hello, i am a 15 year old teenager. (so i may not know a lot but please bare with me)

And i have been browsing the internet and trying to study his “prediction”, it is a “LIE” This man has predicted before and failed, If it would really be the word of god he wouldn’t have failed the first time.

He said in the news he has wasted over $140,000 for commercials and posters to spread the word, He has followers that are blinded buy satan, just imagine what they will do when they see the sun rise up on May 22nd, I’m sure some will commit suicide, most will lose faith in God, they will lose faith in Christianity, and that is what Satan is trying to do, so when the real events happen and the Anti Christ comes they wont believe anything.

“However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. Mathew 24:36 ”

Now what Mr. False Prophet did here is he took “Numbers” from the bible and added them all together to create a date, I am only 15 years old and i can already see that it is a big lie.

Also heres a big slap across the face for Harold.

Deuteronomy 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

    Also:

one day with the Lord is AS a thousand years, and a thousand years AS one day.” The text does NOT say “one day with the Lord IS a thousand years, and a thousand years IS one day.

It is used to explain that to us, for god there is no time, he has no days.

He can come any day no need to predict false prophecy.

    2 Timothy 4:3-4 says:

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Mar 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Harold said on the news the Earthquake would begin before 6:00 pm Eastern Time.

Another false lie. Because it says.

Mar 13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

Not only is it a lie but they earn money while doing it, click on this site they are selling t -shirts for $18.90 that say “Rapture Ready”

    http://judgementday2011.spreadshirt.com/rapture-ready-A7536526/customize/color/1

Harold Camping is nothing but a false prophet.

Be Blessed and i hope what i wrote will help you see, what a lie it is.

  41. Jake

Mr. Blue, I admire your response to Mr. Camping as he is just some other lunatic earning money from every person that checks out his site. It just scares me because what if the rapture did happen, is this possible? God is our leader, camping is just some man trying to live the final years of his life in fame. Please respond. Thanks for your help.

  42. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Jake, you need not fear. If the rapture takes place and you are saved, you go to be with the Lord! You may need to make sure of your salvation. See Romans 10:9,10,13.

  43. Ken Blue Ken Blue

    Thanks, Paul

  44. Jake

Thank you Mr.Blue. I fear not, I know that this is all a publicity stunt, and only god knows when he will come back. I hope you and your family have a good weekend

  45. dee

Mr.blue u put my heart at ease…I’m very scared about may 21 and feel guilty because I love the Lord so much n I don’t want to believe in campings teaching

  46. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Have no fear. Mr. Camping is a deluded, deceptive, deceived, deranged old man.

  47. Wesley Young

Harold camping is wrong I’m sorry to say but I did the math plus I’m a true Christian who lives in gods word and he is wrong about the world, the world would have ended in 2010 not now DUH isn’t it obvious and I’m a lot younger than he is by a lot and I know plus think about it 7000-2011=4989 WRONG but 7000-2010=4990 RIGHT OK we should have been rapture a year ago. He is old, confused, and definitely doesn’t know what he is talking about at all completely. Trust me I know what I’m talking about

  48. Mark Levine

    Thank you Ken.

  49. Hayden

Its sadly to say….. Many are going to church ON THERE WAY TO HELL. And by the sound of it Mr Camping is included for decieving people by his own beliefs. But let us rejoice when we hear such things (false prophets) for the time is coming (that nobody knows) when the Son will appear to fetch his own. Do not brothers & sisters let out hearts be trouble, for we havent been given a spirit of fear but love, power & a sound mind to decern the wolves from the sheep. Be blessed knowing Jesus is coming to fetch his own. “IN HIM WE LIVE, IN HIM WE MOVE, IN HIM WE HAVE OUR BEING, WE MIGHT AS WELL NOT START TO MOVE, UNLESS WE MOVE IN HIM” Praise the name of JESUS!

  50. betty

Thank you Mr. Blue. I also know without a doubt Mr. Camping is a false prophet, however his teachings has led countless millions astray. Many souls have been deceived by his false salvation teachings and this is so very sad. God word never said you have to beg to get save. He said to come boldly to the throne of grace. Romans 10: 9,10 gives you the way of salvation and God is not a respecter of persons. He wish that all men would be saved. Men have a choice to choose whom they will serve. Camping takes the love and grace of God and turns it into a man made falsehood which satan uses to his advantage. So sad.

  51. Ken Blue Ken Blue

    GOD BLESS YOU, BETTY

  52. Ken Blue Ken Blue

    YOU ARE RIGHT

  53. Ken Blue Ken Blue

GOOD POINT, BUT I THINK I’LL TRUST THE LORD AND HIS WORD.

  54. Tami

I am from Jamaica and i really want to say a big thank you Mr. Ken because i was so scared. Now i feel so safe and secure in the word of the lord!!!!!! God Bless you! Pray for all of us

  55. Angel

False prophets! Not to mention the Jehovah’s witnesses and their many failed attempts at predicting the rapture, Charles raze russell was also an idiot, still is, he was 26 when he started that stupid cult. People waste their lives and destroy their families for religion, that’s why they’ll never get into heaven, none of them. It’s your duty to help your fellow man and change the world for the better. To bad the world is full of many religious idiots, they will be the downfall of mankind.

  56. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Angel, you are right. There are to many religious idiots in the world. However, not all idiots are religious. The greatest number of people killed was not over religion. Example: Hitler, Stalin, Engels and Marx. However, the greatest number to be killed in the future wars, will be religious wars. Since it is my “duty to help my fellow man and change the world for the better,” I will tell you how I have done it for over 50 years. When a man or woman sincerely accepts Jesus as personal savor and lets his love shine through them, their world will be changed. It is done one person at a time.
    Thank you for your comment.

Good morning Saints of God. Singing: “This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.” My God never sleeps nor slumbers, he watches over his people. I wonder what false prophet Mr Camping is thinking this morning when he woke up seeing its not the end of the world. Mr Blue i wonder howz it with Mr A…. Need i say more. God bless you Mr Blue & may you one day see God face to face where he crowns you & says: “Well done my good & faithful servant”

This guy is a false prophet even Jesus said to beware of such people like him. I am not happy with Christians who follow this devil’s helper. The only thing we all can do is pray for people of not knowing the WORD of the Lord. The sad part of this is that it makes us hard to spread the Word and get to peoples heads and hearts about Jesus due to a lot of these interference. I seen a lot of Christians becoming Atheist or other form of faith.

It is 7:19pm, May 22nd 2011. There was no rapture.
And while there are many false teachers in the world today who are pulling wool over the eyes of the lost, we need to be praying for their followers who may, in pure ignorance, be “followers of men”. We should take just a minute and ask the Father to allow His Holy Spirit to reach these lost and confused individuals instead of spending precious time bashing false teachers.

Clyde, Jesus and Paul never thought it was a waste of time to expose and condemn false prophets and teachers. They need to, and must be exposed to protect others. Thanks for your comment.

    Right on!

As King David gave “great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme”. 2 Sam 12:14 (NKJV)

    So has Harold Camping

  63. Theresa

actually… Harold Camping should not be taking all the heat for this… as 5/21/2011 @6:PM is actually Biblical… as the day of “completion”… looks like God was a no-show…

    Respectfully,
    Theresa

  64. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Theresa, perhaps you could clarify your comment about the “day of completion.” I must have overlooked that in the Scriptures.

  65. Ken Blue Ken Blue

    RIGHT!

  66. Chris

He’s now saying the world will in October. It was a “spiritual” judgement. Is that biblical?

  67. Ken Blue Ken Blue

    NO, NOT AT ALL!

  68. Jairo

Sooooo. is it going to happen because im 13 and im like freaking out so much…. and what about if it does end and i dont get saved and i have to suffer total damnation please reply mr blue

  69. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Jairo, the answer is found in Romans 10:9-13. Ephesians 2:8-9. 1 Cor. 15:1-4. and John 3:16. I believe these are clear to anyone with faith. Let me know if you need further help.

The Bible says no one will know when the end will come and it also says to beware of false prophets so this is why Harold Camping will be wrong for the third time October 21, 2011

  71. Zach

Is Harold Camping just doing this for money? Is it for attention? I also have a question. I do not go to church. I am a christian, and I was wondering if I am damned for all eternity. I have been baptized. We used to go to church until my father became to ill to go. Then he passed away last year. My mom works untill midnight so sunday morning we cant go. What should we do?

  72. Ken Blue Ken Blue

Zach, Harold Camping is deceived, himself, and money may be part of his problem. I don’t think it is. I believe he believes what he is teaching. He is simply deluded and a deceiver of many.
Although i have been a pastor for 40 years, I can tell you with assurance that church attendance is not a requirement for salvation, neither is water baptism. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, God saves us at that point. .If you can find a good Bible church, you might go in the evenings. You are doing the right thing to help your mother. God bless you. God knows your heart.
